Care Instructions
- Temperature: Oven safe up to 280°C (220°C with heart resistant Le Creuset glass lid)
- Before first use remove all packaging, then wash gently in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly
- Condition the interior non-stick surface by rubbing vegetable or corn oil over the entire surface, using a paper towel. When you're done, rinse your product with hot water, then dry thoroughly.
- DO NOT condition the black exterior sidewall.
- Use gentle heat: Cook on low to medium settings to protect the nonstick surface and maintain even heat.
- Choose soft tools: Opt for wooden, silicone or nylon utensils to preserve the coating. Avoid metal or abrasive materials.
- Handwash preferred: Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft sponge. Avoid harsh scourers to keep the finish looking its best.
- Let it cool: Allow cookware to cool before washing to prevent warping or damage.
- For stubborn residue: Soak briefly in warm, soapy water, then wipe clean with a soft cloth.
- Dishwasher use: Safe, but occasional handwashing will help maintain the finish over time.
- Heat smart: Avoid heating the cookware empty and keep flames or heat sources to the base area only
- Use a hob ring that closely matches the size of your cookware to promote even heat and minimise wear to handles and sides.
- Correct sizing is especially important on induction cooktops, where cookware may not be detected if the ring is too large or small.
- Do not slide cookware across glass topped hobs, as this can mark the surface and damage the base.
