The thick enamel coating on this covered roaster provides a solid, smooth and healthy cooking surface, which is easy to clean and ensures great cooking results. The advantage of the enamel coating is that you can apply high heat, which is retained in the metal, creating heat efficiency and allowing for effective searing of meats. This covered roaster’s lid and base have the same cooking properties and can be used separately in the oven as open roasters if desired.
