Can I delivery to an overseas address?
No, this is not a service we are currently offering.
Can I request 'Signature Required' when my order is delivered by courier?
Yes you can. If you would like the courier to get a signature from the recipient of your order, please request this. If ordering via the web, just tick the 'Signature Required' box at the bottom of the Your Details page. If ordering over the phone, ask our Customer Service staff to do this.
Returns
How can I make a return?
Your online order can be returned via courier to us or in person at Customer Services, Ballantynes Christchurch. Please refer to your order receipt for more information.
Gift Cards
What are the mininum and maximum values that can be loaded onto a Ballantynes gift card?
The lowest value is $10, and gift cards can be loaded up to $1000.
How long is a Ballantynes gift card valid for?
If you have received a gift card, the amount on your card will be available for five years from the date of purchase, after which it will expire. You can choose to spend the amount in one transaction, or just spend part of the amount at any one time. The remaining balance will remain on your card - and you can even top it up again at any time.
Can I use a digital gift card in-store?
Yes! Your digital gift card can be used for in-store purchases — just present it at checkout.
What happens to my refund if I used a Ballantynes Gift Card and another payment method?
If a Ballantynes Gift Card(s) are fully or partially redeemed on an order and the order is partially cancelled or partially returned the Ballantynes Gift Card(s) will be refunded first until the full tender amount of the Ballantynes Gift Card(s) on that order is refunded, then any remaining refund amount will be returned to the other payment methods that were used on the order
